Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project

Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art is proud to be an Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project. This year the Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art has added a demonstration village to our weekend. This village portrays art throughout the history of our state's legacy. You will see woodturners, the Miami tribe, wax artists, woodcarvers, a blacksmith and other art forms. The Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art is pleased to announce the 2016 GetAway Weekend winner will recieve a night stay at Windy Hill Bed and Breakfast and dinner for two at The Key West Shrimp House. This GetAway Weekend will exclude the Madison Chautauqua weekend but invites the winner to come back and enjoy the beauty and relaxation of this quaint town. Registration begins August 1st and Ends August 31st.

Scholarship Winner

The 2016 Scholarship Winner is Bek Hoffman who graduated from Madison High School and is furthering her art studies at Ivy Tech and Ball State University.

Stroll the tree-lined streets of Madison's™ National Landmark Historic District as you shop from 250 artisans.Enjoy live performances throughout the show and a variety of ethnic foods at Riverfront Foodfest along the Ohio River. The Madison Chautauqua features artwork that is handmade and individually designed by the artist. Come and find your passion among paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, weaving, folk art, jewelry, fiber, wood, baskets, clay, glass, paper, leather and wearable art!
